Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 — effective 30 August 2026

The short version: this site sets no cookies at all unless you accept them, and nothing that measures you loads before you choose.

1. What we set before you choose

Nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising scripts. The page is static and does not need them to work.

This is not just a promise about intent — the scripts are not requested at all until a choice is recorded, so there is nothing to opt out of before then.

2. Your choice itself

When you answer the cookie banner, your answer is saved in your browser's local storage under mworkshop_consent_v1. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to our server, and we cannot read it. It exists so the banner does not ask you again.

Clearing your browser storage removes it, and the banner will ask again.

3. What is set if you accept

Two categories, which you can accept separately using Choose in the banner:

Category Set by What it is for Typical lifetime
Analytics Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) Counting visits and understanding which pages are read and how the site was found Up to 2 years
Advertising Google Ads (_gcl_*) Measuring whether an advert led to a waitlist signup Up to 90 days

Both run under Google Consent Mode v2, which starts in a denied state. If you accept only analytics, no advertising identifiers are set.

4. Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. You can accept, reject, or pick categories individually, as often as you like. Rejecting stops the relevant scripts from loading on your next page view.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fully either way — nothing here depends on cookies.

5. Who receives the data

Only Google, and only if you consent. What that involves, and how long it is kept, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
